Principal’s Welcome
Dear Parents/Guardians, April 2024
As we enter the final quarter of the school year, I encourage parents and students to check Schooltool
and Parent Portal for academic and attendance information. Students should take advantage of staying
after school with teachers for additional help or to address any attendance issues as we close out the
2023-24 school year.
The school calendar has been updated to include additional vacation days the next couple months. April
spring break has been extended to include Friday, April 19. April break will be April 19 – April 26.
Students will return on April 29. The Memorial Day break now includes Friday, May 24 and runs May 24-
May 27. Students return on Tuesday, May 28.
The last day of classes will be Thursday, June 13. Jr.-High students will begin summer break. Regent
exams will start Tuesday, June 4 (Algebra I) with all students attending school. The remainder of Regent
Exams will be Friday, June 14 – Tuesday, June 25. During this time, only students taking Regent Exams
need to report to school.
Graduation will be Friday, June 21 at 6:00 PM on Fisher Field.
