A Message from the Principal:

Dear Dexter Elementary Families and the General Brown Community,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I write to you as the new Principal of Dexter Elementary School. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve this remarkable school community and to continue the tradition of excellence that defines General Brown.

For the past several years, I have had the privilege of serving our district as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at General Brown Junior-Senior High School. During that time, I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible dedication of our teachers and staff, the unwavering support of our families, and—most importantly—the character, curiosity, and resilience of our students. These experiences have only deepened my pride in being a part of the General Brown family and strengthened my commitment to helping every child thrive.

At Dexter Elementary, my focus will be on creating a learning environment where every student feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. I believe deeply in the power of relationships, collaboration, and communication. Working together—staff, families, and community—we can build on the strong foundation already in place and continue to provide a learning experience that nurtures the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.

Over the coming weeks, I look forward to meeting many of you and learning about your hopes and goals for our school. Whether it’s at arrival, dismissal, school events, or around town, please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself. Your partnership and input are invaluable as we begin this exciting new chapter together.
