Welcome to Dexter Elementary School

A Message from the Principal:

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As the end of the year is quickly approaching, please be sure to check our monthly calendar, district website and Parent Square for important end of the year updates. June will be a busy month and we don’t want you to miss anything!

Kindergarten promotion will be Tuesday, June 18th in our gymnasium.

-Bellinger, Cloonan & Parker will be 9:30 - 10:00

-Dillabough, Jones & Youngs will be 10:30-11:00

Seating will be accessible 15 minutes prior to the start of each program. Bleacher seating will be available, but please be mindful of the number of attendees.

There is no school on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

Pre-K’s last day will be Friday, June 21st.

We still have full days on Thursday, June 20th and Friday, June 21st and also a half day on Monday, June 24th. Summer vacation officially starts on Tuesday, June 25th for students!!

In the coming weeks our students will be attending field trips and outdoor activities. Please remember to apply sunscreen before your child comes to school. June 12th our PTO has some fun activities planned for our students to enjoy throughout the day!

I want to end by thanking all teachers, staff and parents of Dexter Elementary! I enjoy working with all of you to provide a safe and enriching environment for students to learn and grow. Have a safe and enjoyable summer and we look forward to kicking off the school year with you in September!!!!
