A Message from the Principal:

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Spring is almost here!! We are all looking forward to some warmer weather. Teachers and students are eager to get back outside for recess after spending much of the winter inside. Please remember to pack a light jacket or sweatshirt so our students can enjoy the fresh air and spend some time outside this spring!

We have had a busy winter!! The students have been enjoying a few performances by Rev Theater. This is a traveling performance company that comes to the school and teaches students about theater performance and puts on small plays. The students also celebrated the 100th day of school on February 24th. They had fun completing activities around 100 Days of Being Smarter!! We also celebrated "Read Across America" week with a kickoff assembly led by some amazing staff and students from the high school.

Our Spring Break this year will be April 18th - 25th. We hope everyone enjoys time off with friends and family. Please remember to check our school website, www.gblions.org, for budget information and updates. Information about the school budget vote will be posted on the home page.
