General Brown Junior-Senior High School
Principal’s Welcome
Dear Parents/Guardians, June 2024
The last day of classes will be Thursday, June 13. Jr.-High students will begin summer break. Regent
Exams will be Friday, June 14 – Tuesday, June 25. During this time, only students taking Regent Exams
need to report to school. Morning Regents start at 8:00 AM and afternoon Regents start at 11:30 AM.
Students should arrive 15 minutes before each exam. There will be transportation provided at the start
of each day and end of the day per the normal bus schedule. Students should notify their driver if they
need to be picked up for an exam.
Graduation will be Friday, June 21 at 6:00 PM on Fisher Field.
Report cards for Jr. High students will be mailed the week of June 24 and the Sr. High students will be
mailed out the week of July 1.
There will be summer school for some selected High School courses for students who do not successfully
complete a course. If students are notified by a teacher of this outcome, students need to contact the
Counseling Office or their School Counselor to discuss their options for summer school.
